Common questions
Things people ask us
What makes Uncommon different from a regular studio or gym in Singapore?
+
We are not a gym. We blend strength, mobility, coordination, breathwork, rehabilitation, and play. Every session is entirely personalised. We coach the whole person, including your mood, lifestyle, and history. We adapt every session to how you actually feel on the day. No template is ever used.
I have knee pain or back pain. Can you help?
+
Yes. Our rehab coaching bridges the gap between physiotherapy and feeling genuinely strong again. We work with knee pain, back pain, shoulder issues, and chronic pain through intelligent, progressive movement coaching. We never rush the process and we always respect pain signals.
Do you offer a free consultation?
+
Yes. All new clients receive a free consultation so we can understand your movement history, lifestyle, and goals before recommending any coaching programme. There is no commitment required.
Is this suitable for people who have never enjoyed traditional exercise?
+
It is one of our most common client profiles. Our studio is calm, non-intimidating, and completely free of traditional fitness culture. There are no machines, no mirrors, no pressure, and no judgment. Many of our clients had poor experiences with conventional fitness spaces before finding us.
Do you work with children or teenagers?
+
Yes. Our youth coaching uses play-based movement for children of all abilities including those with ADHD, dyspraxia, coordination challenges, or sensory differences. Sessions adapt fully to each child's personality, learning style, and ability on the day.
Can I train remotely if I am outside Singapore?
+
Yes. Remote coaching via live video delivers the same personalised attention as in-studio sessions. Your coach watches how you move in real time, gives feedback, and adapts the session as it unfolds. We have clients across Asia and Europe.
